Setting Up the Paper Receiving Tray

Open the Paper Receiving Tray.

Raise and slide the Receiving Tray

Paper Guides to fit the paper
width.
Holding the Receiving Tray Paper Guide
Adjustment Knob, slide the guides.
NOTE • For thick paper, set the guides a little
wider than the actual paper width.
• When you change the horizontal print
position, adjust the position of the
Receiving Tray Paper Guides as well.
• When using the optional Auto-control
Stacking Tray, you can adjust the
paper guide positions on the Control
Panel. p.104
Adjust the Paper Arrangers.

Select the best combination of Paper Arranger
settings, referring to the following instruction.

NOTE
• Ordinary paper
Open all four Paper
Arrangers.
(Except for RP3790 and RP3590)
• Ordinary paper with
images lopsided on page
Open two Paper Arrangers
on the more heavily printed
side.
Preparing to Print
• Thick paper
Open two Paper Arrangers
closest to the machine.
