Customizing the Initial Settings
Functions and Descriptions
Feed Tray Relay (For RP3790 and RP3590 only)
Selects if the [Feed Tray Relay] feature, which
makes Paper Feed Trays feed paper in
sequence, is to be activated.
If the [Triple-Tray Source] function is also set at
[ON], the paper is fed in sequence in the
following order: Standard Paper Feed Tray ➔
Paper Feed Tray 2 ➔ Paper Feed Tray 1.
Triple-Tray Source (For RP3790 and RP3590 only)
Selects if the Standard Paper Feed Tray should
be included in the auto paper size selection
mode and the [Feed Tray Relay] feature.
Job Separation Line
Selects the initial status of the Job Separation
feature.
[SORTER>] Display
Selects if the [SORTER>] button should be
displayed in place of the [PROGRAM] button in
the Main-panel window.
Select [ON] to display the [SORTER>] button.
Beep Sound
Selects if a beep sound is to be emitted or not, to
signal the following elements; key/button
operation, status change and errors.
Clock/Calendar
Adjust the time and data of the system clock and
calendar. (The system clock time is used as the
data receipt time given in the Data mode.)
Displayed Language
Selects a display language.
Consult your service representative.
Communication Mode
Selects the current communication mode.
RMT Data Receiver
Selects the data receiving device for the Remote
transmission mode. (Available only for the
Remote transmission mode)
RMT Error Transact
Selects how to process communication errors in
the Remote transmission mode.
To suspend the data transmission when an error
occurs, select [Pause]. To continue the data
transmission clearing the document data which
has caused the error, on the other hand, select
[Skip Error].
(Available only for the Remote transmission

Skip Error, Pause
NOTE
When [Pause] is selected, an error
message appears in the Main
Display on the printer to inform you
that an error has occurred in data
transmission.
You can check when the error
occurred by printing out the
document data already received.
