To transfer the contents of a configuration file:
1. Click the
Transfer Files
2. Refer to the
Source
From
File
Using
Port
IP Address
User ID
Password
Path
3. Refer to the
Target
To
File
button on the bottom of the Configuration screen.
field to define the location and address information for the source config file.
Select the location representing the source file's current location
using the
From
drop-down menu. Options include
Disk
and
Wireless
Switch.
Specify a source file for the file transfer. If the switch is selected,
the file used at startup automatically displays within the File
parameter.
Use the
Using
drop down-menu to configure whether the log file
transfer is conducted using FTP or TFTP. FTP transfers require a valid
user ID and password.
Specify the
Port
number used for the configuration file transfer.
The default port number for FTP transfers in 21, and the default port
for TFTP transfers is 69.
Enter the
IP Address
configuration. Ensure the IP address is valid or risk jeopardizing the
success of the file transfer.
Enter the
User ID
credentials required to transfer the configuration
file from a FTP server.
Enter the
Password
required to send the configuration file from an
FTP server.
Specify the appropriate
local system disk or server. The Target options are different
depending on the target selected.

Use the

drop-down menu to define the location of the
configuration file. Options include the Wireless Switch (default
location), Server (only available when source is Wireless Switch) or
Local Disk (only available when source is Wireless Switch).
Use the
File
field to specify a target file for the file transfer. Use
the File Browser icon to search attached files systems for target file
location.
