Transfer Assembly
1. Remove the waste toner recovery unit (page 4–17).
2. Turn the green lever to the left to lower the transport surface.
3. Pull the transfer assembly out until it stops.
4. Refer to the following figure and remove the screws (6) securing the right and left
slide rails to the transfer assembly.
For the screws at the rear (1 each at the left and right), shift the transfer
assembly until the screws are aligned with the holes in the rails (so that the
screws can be seen through the holes), then remove the screws.
5. Lift the transfer assembly from the rails and remove it.
