Fabric OS Command Reference
53-1001764-02
-mib_name mib_name
Specifies the name of the MIB to be configured. This operand is required if
you want to configure MIB traps noninteractively. Valid MIB names include
the following.
FE-MIB
SW-MIB
FA-MIB
FICON-MIB
HA-MIB
FCIP-MIB
ISCSI-MIB
IF-MIB
BD-MIB
-bitmask bit_mask
Specifies the bit mask for the MIB. In Fabric OS v6.4.0 and later, SNMP Traps
are identified by their bit mask and can be read directly from the switch
configuration. The MIB and trap status (enabled or disabled) status is
recorded in a 64- bit counter. The last bit (bit 0) is reserved for the MIB and
the remaining bits are reserved for the traps of that MIB. The trap's position is
allocated based on the last ID of the trap OID. For example, the last ID of the
swEventTrap is 5 so its position will be 5th from the right. Refer to
for a listing of valid bit masks.
