Removing Cross Driveline

The cross driveline transfers power from the tractor s power take-off (PTO) to the cutterbar-conditioner drive gearbox
(T-gearbox).
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator's seat.
1. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Open the cutterbar doors to access cross driveline (A) from
inside the rotary disc pull-type. For instructions, refer to
3.3.1 Opening Cutterbar Doors – North America, page 41
3.3.2 Opening Cutterbar Doors – Export, page
3. Loosen clamp (A) and slide driveline shield (B) away from
the yoke.
4. Repeat the previous step for the opposite end of the
driveline.
