1. Turn timing pulley
guide to "▲" mark
mark of cam shaft pulley
head are aligned with each other.
No.1 piston is to be at top dead center of
compression stroke.
2. Attach crankshaft holder
3. Loosen timing pulley nut
Remove belt guide .
· Use 32mm socket wrench and 30mm ring
wrench for this step.
· When loosening nut
hold cam shaft pulley
being turned.
· Keep timing belt
precaution.
Crank Shaft Holder
P/N. 3V1-72815-0
4. Remove bolt of cam shaft pulley
pulley.
When loosening cam shaft pulley bolt, use crank
shaft holder to prevent cam shaft pulley from
turning.
4st 8/9.8 2016
clockwise to bring "▲" mark
of cylinder block, and check that "●1"
and "▲" mark of cylinder
to crankshaft and secure it.
