1. Fully tilt up outboard motor and lock with tilt stopper
IF PT unit will not operate, open manual valve
and lift up outboard motor with hands. When
manual valve is opened, be sure to tighten it with
specified torque after tilting up outboard motor.
Manual valve
2 N・m (1.5 lb・ft) [0.2 kgf・m]
2. Disconnect PT cable
from power tilt unit.
Disconnect negative battery cable first and then
positive cable.
