Blinking the Port

To locate the switch or hub a cable is connected to, the WireScope 350
can blink the switch or hub port. The technician using the WireScope at
the wall plate end of the circuit blinks the indicator on the panel at the
hub or switch end.
To blink the port:
1 On the Tools menu (see page 6-18), press Blink Port. The Blink Port
2 Press Start. The port begins blinking, and the Start button changes
3 To stop the blinking, press Stop. The blinking stops.
