Choosing the Network Limit

4−14
The WireScope 350 can certify cabling for compliance with the physical
medium dependent (PMD) requirements of popular network interface
technologies such as Ethernet or ATM. Network certification can be
performed in addition to certifying to cabling limits.
A pass result for a particular networking technology indicates that the
tested cable run meets the loss and length requirements necessary to
successfully support communications between devices of that type.
To choose the network limit:
1 On the Fiber Autotest Settings screen, press Network Limits, then
press Edit. The Networks Setup screen displays.
2 Press a limit to choose it. When you have placed check marks next to
all types of networks you wish to certify, press OK. The Fiber
Autotest Settings screen displays.
