Prerequisites
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-15 Torx screwdriver available.
Procedure
Procedure
1. Back up all server data on the drive.
2. Power down the server.
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
If the server is in tower mode: Position the tower server for hardware configuration.
If the server is in rack mode: Remove the server from the rack .
6. Remove the front bezel .
7. Remove the access panel .
8. If installed, remove the air baffle .
9. Disconnect all cables from the drive .
10. Remove the drive enablement assembly:
