Cause the system to become unstable and might shut down.
To ensure access to all available features, all power input modules in the same server should have the same output
and efficiency ratings. Verify that all power input modules have the same part number and label color.
Procedure
Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
If the server is in tower mode: Position the tower server for hardware configuration.
If the server is in rack mode: Remove the server from the rack .
5. Remove the power supply:
a. Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
