15) SWING PARKING BRAKE RELEASING PILOT PRESSURE
(1) Preparation
Stop the engine.

Loosen the cap and relieve the pressure

in the tank by pushing the top of the air
breather.
The pressure release L wrench to bleed
③
air.
Install a connector and pressure gauge
④
assembly to swing motor SH port, as
shown.
Star t the engine and check for oil
⑤
leakage from the adapter.
Keep the hydraulic oil temperature at
⑥
50±5˚C.
(2) Measurement
Select the following switch positions.
①
Power mode switch : P mode

Operate the swing function or arm roll in

function and measure the swing brake
c o n t r o l p r e s s u r e w i t h t h e b ra ke
disengaged. Release the control lever
to return to neutral and measure the
control pressure when the brake is
applied.
Repeat step ② three times and calculate

the average values.
(3) Evaluation
The average measured pressure should be within the following specifications.
