The engine check warning lamp will activate as following condition.

The engine oil pressure is low.

The engine oil life has exceeded the maximum service limit.
Also, the engine stop warning lamp and engine oil pressure

The engine oil life has exceeded the maximum
allowable life for the monitored operating
conditions. Engine derates. Triggered by the oil life
algorithm. Pop-up window is seen in a cluster.
Oil life reset confirmed.
Flashes at 1 Hz until key cycle is reset
