Verify port-level network connections
To ensure that access between the StorageGRID Appliance Installer and other nodes is
not obstructed by firewalls, confirm that the StorageGRID Appliance Installer can connect
to a specific TCP port or set of ports at the specified IP address or range of addresses.
About this task
Using the list of ports provided in the StorageGRID Appliance Installer, you can test the connectivity between
the appliance and the other nodes in your Grid Network.
Additionally, you can test connectivity on the Admin and Client Networks and on UDP ports, such as those
used for external NFS or DNS servers. For a list of these ports, see the port reference in the StorageGRID
networking guidelines.
