7.3 Installing the interface option and DDR4 SDRAM

Caution!
Interface options or DDR4 main memory modules are only permitted to be installed when the power
is switched off.
1. Disconnect the power supply cable to the B&R industrial PC (disconnect the power cable).
2. Carry out electrostatic discharge on the housing or at the ground connection.
3. Remove the Torx screws (T10) of the cover. Their number may vary depending on the system unit.
4. Remove the cover.
