3.1 SWITCHING THE POWER ON/OFF
3.1.1 Switching the power ON
Power ON the printer according to the procedure below.
Step 1 :
Press the [Power] key on the operation panel, to power ON the unit.
Step 2 :
The unit will start the initial start up operations.
Step 3 :
After finishing the initial start up operations, the unit will enter the normal operation condition
3.1.2 Switching the power OFF
Power OFF the printer according to the procedure below.
Step 1 :
Verify the following operational conditions of the unit.
•
The printer is not performing any printing operation.
•
The operation panel is in the main screen
Step 2 :
Press the [OFF] key on the operation panel to power OFF the printer.
Step 3 :
The printer will perform the power OFF operation.
Step 4 :
All lamps and the LCD of the operation panel will switch OFF.
Step 5 :
The printer will automatically power OFF.
