This chapter explains the features of the plotter, and the names and functions of each part.

2.1 FEATURES

In this section, the main features of the plotter are explained.
(1) High resolution printing
The plotter incorporates an on-demand piezo head, offering high print quality and high performance.
As 1440 dpi and 2880 dpi resolution is realized, sharp and accurate plots can be made, from line drawings to
CAD images.
(2) Ink system
The ink cartridges and the ink system are designed to avoid soiling your hands during ink replacement.
Black pigment ink is employed, which is abundantly used in line drawings offering high printing quality on
different media and an improved weather resistance.
(3) Ultimate working efficiency
This plotter is designed for handling roll media (RJ-901C only) and sheet media, and replacement of ink
cartridges is very easy.
(4) Operation efficiency

The plotter configuration is made easy through the LCD panel on the plotter.

A clear and powerful Windows driver facilitates operation.

A web monitoring feature is provided to monitor the plotter status from a host PC.
