7.1.2 Cannot generate graphics.

(1) Do not actuate at all after power activation

4 Is the waste fluid tank fully inserted?
(2) Does not work after setting the media

1 The front cover is open, or media hold lever is up.
2 The media is not loaded straight into the plotter.
3 Are the ink cartridges inserted?
4 Are you using dedicated media?
Is the plotter being used in an environment other

than the one specified, such as in direct sunlight?
(3) An error is displayed and details not printed after sending data from the computer

1 Is the type of computer selected correctly?

Remedy
Connect the power cable.
Connect the cable to another
outlet.
Close the front cover.
Lower the media hold lever.
Fully insert the waste fluid tank. "Replacing waste fluid tank"
Remedy
Close the front cover.
Lower the media hold lever.
Load the media straight.
Insert the ink cartridges.
Use dedicated media.
Only use the plotter in an
environment that is specified for
use.
Remedy
Check that the settings on the
computer side and plotter side are
the same.
Remedy
Connect the network interface cable
correctly.
Configure network settings correctly. "Network Menu"
Match this product's network settings
with the computer side environment.
If the Data light does not switch on,
contact the computer manufacturer.
Remedy
Connect the USB cable correctly.
If the Data light does not switch on,
contact the CAD or computer
manufacturer.
Match the command setting of the plotter
to the environment of the CAD and driver.
