Packing the Instrument in its Original Container
To minimize the possibility of damage during storage or shipment, the instrument should be
repacked only in the original packaging materials. If you do not have the original packing
materials, contact Molecular Devices.
Make sure that the instrument is clean and dry before packing.
To pack the instrument.
1. Pack the microplate carrier, manifold, and fluidics tubing in their original boxes.

2. Open the clear cover.
3. Place the metal microplate carrier lock to the left of the rail on the top of the instrument.

The metal microplate carrier lock is held in place by the magnet below the surface of the
instrument.
4. Use adhesive tape to secure the metal microplate carrier lock into position.

CAUTION! When transporting the instrument, warranty claims are void if improper
packing results in damage to the instrument.
