OPERATION
REMARK
If the boom control lever is at near the set position of boom lower stop (approximately within 2 °), the lever
cannot be set to "FLOAT" position.
METHOD FOR RELEASING LOWER REMOTE BOOM POSITIONER
When the boom is above the horizontal level, the boom RAISE stop position setting can be made. And when the
boom is below the horizontal level, the boom LOWER stop position setting can be made.
1.
Operate boom control lever (1) and place the boom height between the horizontal level and 30 cm or more
from the ground, then return boom control lever (1) to "HOLD" position.

Keep pressing (a) of remote positioner switch (2) for 1 sec-
ond or longer.
The buzzer "beeps", and the boom stop position setting is
released.

METHOD FOR PARKING MACHINE

Avoid a sudden stop. Stop the machine gradually.
Do not park the machine on a slope.
If it is unavoidable to place the machine on a slope,
place the machine at a right angle to the slope face,
chock the tires, and then lower the bucket to the
ground.
Before standing up from the operator's seat or when
adjusting the position of the operator's seat, securely
press the work equipment lock switch to lock the work
equipment, and make the work equipment lock pilot
lamp light up.
If the work equipment is not locked and the work
equipment control lever (A) is touched by mistake, it
may lead to serious accident.
If the work equipment is not securely locked, it can
start moving and cause a serious personal injury or
death.
Set work equipment control lever (A) to "HOLD" posi-
tion, then operate the work equipment lock switch.
When operating the work equipment lock switch, be
sure not to touch work equipment control lever (A).
Set the steering lock lever securely to LOCK position.
Always apply the parking brake when parking or leav-
ing the machine.
Keep depressing the brake pedal until the parking
brake pilot lamp lights up on the machine monitor
even when the parking brake switch has been turned
to ON position (activated).
