EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS
This function facilitates the load-and-carry operation.
When the travel speed is 12.5 km/h or higher, the gear speed is shifted down by one gear speed each time
the kickdown switch is pressed as F4, F3, and F2 in this order.
When the kickdown switch is pressed during the torque converter lockup, the torque converter lockup is
canceled.
REMARK
Even if the auto-kickdown is enabled, the downshift with this kickdown switch actuates.
If the travel speed increases after a kickdown, the gear speed is shifted up automatically with the automatic
shift.
When the travel speed is 13 km/h or higher in 3rd gear speed, and 25 km/h or higher in 4th gear speed, the
gear speed is not shifted down to prevent the engine from overrunning even if the kickdown switch is press-
ed.
