EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS
REMARK
On the slippery road such as muddy surface, slipping of the tire can be prevented by setting the driving
force to be decreased with the driving force control dial beforehand.
Change the setting for the driving force according to the condition of the work place, workability, and a state
of the road surface.
The driving force control dial decreases the driving force, whereas the work equipment keeps the power.
This is effective to reduce the wear of tires since it prevents the tires from slipping.
When decreasing the driving force with the driving force control dial, the modulation clutch slips, and the
temperature will increase due to the friction.
If the digging work is performed at 1st speed, perform the work from starting pushing-in to finishing scoop-
ing within 10 seconds in order to prevent the modulation clutch from overheating.
RPM SET SWITCH
NOTICE
Press SET/ACCEL position (a) of the RPM set switch while the accelerator is OFF, or turn the starting
switch to OFF position, the speed memory of the RPM set is cleared.
To set it again, repeat from the beginning.
The engine low idle speed can be kept at 850 rpm and above
with the RPM set switch.
(a) SET/ACCEL position
SET/ACCEL position (a) is used for the following operations.
Set the engine speed.
The RPM set pilot lamp lights up.
Raise the set engine speed.
Clear the set speed.
(b) RESUME/DECEL position
RESUME/DECEL position (b) is used for the following operations.
Lower the set engine speed.
Cancel the setting temporarily.
Restore from the auto-deceleration.
If the RPM set is not set, depress the accelerator pedal to raise the engine speed to the desired speed, and
press SET/ACCEL position (a), then the engine speed is stored and the RPM set is set.
If the RPM set is set, keep pressing SET/ACCEL position (a) for 0.5 seconds or more, then the engine
speed rises and it is set to the new speed when it is released.
If the RPM set is set, keep pressing RESUME/DECEL position (b) for 0.5 seconds or more, then the engine
speed lowers and it is set to the new speed when it is released.
REMARK
The RPM set function prevents lowering of the engine speed more than necessary while operating with the ac-
celerator, the engine acceleration improves and the cycle time of operation can be shortened.
