ATTACHMENTS AND OPTIONS
NOTICE
Do not use the parking brake switch for braking when trav-
eling except for an emergency. If the parking brake was
used as a secondary brake when the machine was travel-
ing, the parking brake may break and a serious accident
may result.
Stop the machine, and then apply the parking brake.
If the parking brake was used as a secondary brake when
the machine was traveling, ask your Komatsu distributor
for inspection of the parking brake system.
1.
Release accelerator pedal (1), then depress R.H. brake
pedal (2) to stop the machine.
2.
Set directional selector switch (3) to NEUTRAL position
(N).
3.
Set parking brake switch (4) to ON position (a), and apply
the parking brake.
When the parking brake has been applied, the parking
brake pilot lamp lights up on machine monitor (5).
NOTICE
Applying the parking brake automatically sets the
transmission to NEUTRAL.
