HANDLE STEERING WHEEL SPEC MACHINE
DIRECTIONAL LEVER
The directional lever is used to switch the travel direction of the
machine.
(F) FORWARD position
It is used to drive the machine forward.
(N) NEUTRAL position
The machine does not move.
(R) REVERSE position
It is used to drive the machine in reverse.
Set the directional lever to NEUTRAL position (N) first, and
start the engine.
When starting the engine, if the directional lever is not in NEUTRAL position (N), the engine does not start and
the centralized warning lamp lights up, and the alarm buzzer sounds.
REMARK
Do not hold the directional lever at a position between FOWARD position (F) and NEUTRAL position (N), nor
between NEUTRAL position (N) and REVERSE position (R).
Although the transmission operates as displayed in the shift indicator on the machine monitor, the alarm buzzer
sounds.
STEERING TILT LOCK LEVER
Stop the machine before adjusting the tilt of the steering wheel.
If this operation (adjustment) is performed while the machine is moving, serious personal injury or
death can result.
NOTICE
Do not operate the steering tilt lock lever repeatedly with an excessive force.
If the steering tilt lock lever is loosened or the angle of steering tilt lock lever is shifted, ask your Komat-
su distributor for inspection.
The steering tilt lock lever is used to fix the position of the
steering wheel.
(L) LOCK position
The steering wheel is fixed.
(F) FREE position
Fix of the steering wheel is canceled.
The steering wheel is allowed to move back and forth, and up
and down.
The adjustable range is shown below.
