OPERATION
1.
When the machine approaches close to rocks, release the
accelerator pedal and shift down the travel speed from 2nd
to 1st.
2.
After the shifting down, gradually depress the accelerator
pedal to thrust the bucket into the rocks.
3.
Slightly raise the boom to allow front wheels to increase
the driving force.
Take care not to thrust the bucket into the rocks excessive-
ly at this time.
REMARK
When digging up a large rock, it may be better not to raise
the boom too much. If the boom is raised excessively, the
rear wheels may lift off the ground.
4.
While thrusting the bucket sufficiently, repeat tilting back the bucket and raising the boom 2 to 3 times to fill
the bucket with target materials.
5.
Release the accelerator pedal, operate the control lever slowly to tilt back the bucket fully.
6.
In order to prevent load spillage from the bucket, stabilize the loaded materials in the bucket by the dump
and tilt operation at near the full tilt position of the bucket after the scooping is completed.
REMARK
Release the brake pedal slightly before driving the machine in reverse, and loaded materials in the
bucket is stabilized.
To prevent the torque converter from overheating, complete the digging within 10 seconds from the be-
ginning of thrusting the bucket to the end of scooping.
REVERSE TRAVEL AFTER DIGGING
NOTICE
Do not steer the machine immediately after the machine starts traveling in reverse. If you steer the
machine when the bucket is surrounded with rocks, a large load may be applied to the bucket and
frame, and the frame may be damaged.
Accelerate the machine gradually after shifting the gear. If you accelerate the machine quickly, tires
may slip and they may be worn or cut.
1.
After the digging, shift the gear to REVERSE 2nd to drive
the machine in reverse without steering.
2.
If reverse travel distance (a) is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 times the overall length of the machine, the tires
rotate smoothly and the tire wear is reduced.
Keep angle (b) between the line extended from the muck to the machine at a right angle and the line ex-
tended from the dump truck to the machine at a right angle to be 60 °.
