Check that bucket control lever (4) is in "HOLD" position
(c).
7.
Check that boom control lever (5) is in "HOLD" position (b).
8.
Insert the key into starting switch (6) and turn it to ON posi-
tion (B).
9.
Check that machine monitor (7) operates as follows.
NOTICE
If the machine monitor does not light up, there may be
a failure or wire breakage. Ask your Komatsu distribu-
tor for inspection.
1)
Centralized warning lamp (8) and pilot display (9) are
lit for 2 seconds and off for 1 second.
2)
Liquid crystal display (10) displays the start screen for
2 seconds.
3)
The pointer of engine tachometer (11) swings once.
4)
Speedometer (12) displays "88" for 2 seconds.
5)
The alarm buzzer sounds for 2 seconds, then stops under the normal condition.
