8.
Set gear shift switch (8) to the desired position.
(a) Upshift switch
The range of automatic gear shit for the gear speed in-
creases.
(b) Downshift switch
The range of automatic gear shit for the gear speed de-
creases.
1st
The gear speed is fixed to 1st speed, and it is not changed
automatically.
2nd
The gear speed is automatically changed between 1st and 2nd.
3rd
The gear speed is automatically changed in the range of 1st to 3rd.
4th
The gear speed is automatically changed in the range of 1st to 4th.
Check the gear speed with shift position display on ma-
chine monitor (1).
9.
Set steering lock lever (9) to FREE position (F).
The AJSS pilot lamp lights up on machine monitor (1).
REMARK
Set the steering lock lever to FREE position (F), otherwise
the travel direction cannot be changed.
