PRECAUTIONS FOR LOAD-AND-CARRY OPERATION
When traveling continuously in load-and-carry operation, choose the appropriate tires to match the operating
conditions, or choose the operating conditions to match the tires. If this is not done, the tires will be damaged.
Consult your Komatsu distributor or tire dealer.
PRECAUTIONS FOR STONE HANDLING OPERATION
When performing the stone handling work, select proper tires corresponding to the working condition. Other-
wise, tires may be damaged.
For the tires to be used and their proper inflation pressure, follow the following table.

PRECAUTIONS FOR TIRE CHAIN AND ADDING BALLAST
In some cases, the ballast (calcium chloride, etc.) is added to the tires in order to improve the stability
of the machine. However, it affects to the strength of the machine and may cause serious personal in-
jury or death. Accordingly, observe the followings for adding.
• Do not apply ballast to all the 4 wheels.
Apply ballast to rear wheels only.
• Do not apply ballast to the tires if mesh chains are installed on them.
• Do not apply ballast to the tires for the machine equipped with additional counterweight.
• Do not install the mesh chain to the machine with logging specifications. Also, do not apply ballast
to it.
