ATTACHMENTS AND OPTIONS
METHOD FOR SHIFTING GEARS

Avoid sudden gear shifts when traveling at high speeds.
Before shifting down the gear, apply the brake to reduce
the travel speed.
Shift gear as follows.
1.
Check the transmission shift mode with machine monitor
(1) and transmission shift mode selector switch (2).
Normally, set it to automatic shift (a).
(a) Automatic shift
Automatic shift is effective.
Automatic shift pilot lamp lights up.
(b) Manual shift
Manual shift is effective.
Automatic shift pilot lamp goes out.
Gear speed is set to the gear speed shown on the shift in-
dicator.

Set gear shift switch (3) to the desired position.
(a) 1st position
The gear speed is fixed to 1st speed, and it is not changed
automatically.
(b) 2nd position
The gear speed is automatically changed between 1st and
2nd.
(c) 3rd position
The gear speed is automatically changed in the range of
1st to 3rd.
(d) 4th position
The gear speed is automatically changed in the range of 1st to 4th.
