22. Refill with the specified quantity of hydraulic oil through oil
filler port (F), then install the cap.
23. Check the hydraulic oil level.
Check that it is at the specified level. For details, see
"METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN HYDRAULIC
TANK, ADDING OIL (4-47)".
24. Start the engine.
25. Bleed air from the steering cylinder according to the following procedure.
1)
Run the engine at low idle, and operate the steering cylinder to around the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
2)
Run the engine at high idle, and operate the steering cylinder to around the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
26. Bleed air from the steering cylinder of bucket and boom according to the following procedure.
1)
Run the engine at low idle, and operate each cylinder of bucket, and boom to approximately 100 mm
before the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
NOTICE
If the engine runs at high speed immediately after startup or a cylinder is pushed up to its
stroke end, air taken inside the cylinder may cause damage to the piston packing.
2)
Run the engine at high idle and operate each cylinder of bucket, and boom to approximately 100 mm
before the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
3)
Run the engine at low idle, and operate each cylinder of bucket, and boom to the stroke end 4 to 5
times.
27. Stop the engine, then loosen air bleeding plug (2).
28. After bleeding air from the hydraulic tank, tighten plug (2).
29. Check the hydraulic oil level.
Check that it is at the specified level. For details, see
"METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN HYDRAULIC
TANK, ADDING OIL (4-47)".
30. Start the engine and run it at low idle.
31. Loosen air bleeding plug (2).
Bleed air from the filter tank.
32. Increase the engine speed and bleed air according to step 25 to 28.
Repeat this work until no air is discharged from plug (2).
33. After bleeding air, tighten plug (2).
Tightening torque: 11.3±1.47 Nm {1.15±0.15 kgm}
34. Check the hydraulic oil level.
