The melter is equipped with one user‐configurable input and one
user‐configurable output. Wire the inputs/outputs to the melter then configure
the inputs and outputs through using the user interface.
NOTE: You can expand the total number of inputs to a total of 5 and the
total number of outputs to 4 by ordering the Legacy I/O kit, part number
1127717.

Assigning Inputs

1. Log into your BBconn Cloud account, then do the following:

Select SETUP TOOL - create or load a .NOR file.
S
Select SYSTEM SETTINGS | SYSTEM IO.
2. Select Input.
3. Standard is the default input selection and has only one input that you
can define. If you have the optional Legacy I/O kit (part number
1127717), then you have an additional four inputs that you can define.
The default Standard input is represented by the letter S. The default for
S1 (Standard Input #1 ) is Disabled.
If you have the optional Legacy I/O board installed, then select Legacy
at the top of the screen to view and change the additional four Legacy
inputs. The optional Legacy inputs are represented by the letter L. The
The default Legacy inputs are as follows:

L1 Legacy input #1 is Automatic Setback
S
L2 Legacy input #2 is Setback Control
S
L3 Legacy input #3 is Heater Control
S
L4 Legacy input #4 is Applicator1/Hose1
4. Decide if you want to Invert (reverse the polarity) of the input. Select
Invert to change the polarity. The default is not inverted (active high).
5. When done, select SAVE.
NOTES:
S
The LED
illuminates when:
S
A system Input is assigned
S
When controlled with a PLC
S
When controlled with an Ethernet cable connected either to a laptop
or a touch screen
S
When controlled using WiFi
S
You cannot assign the same input selection to multiple inputs.
S
An input assigned for System Enable that is NOT inverted prevents or
stops the Master Heater control from switching On. Typically, you would
use this setup for an Emergency Stop.
