Setting Up the Melter

DASHBOARD | SETUP TOOL | CREATE NEW
Click on the RUNTIME, SYSTEM SETTINGS, COMMUNICATION SETTINGS and
TOOLS links to access additional settings.

Optionally, select the RECIPE link to define RUNTIME settings specific to a
production run.

BBconn Cloud
When done, DOWNLOAD the .NOR file from BBconn Cloud to your computer and
then copy the .NOR file to the root of a USB drive. Insert the USB drive into the
melter. The melter detects the USB drive, and automatically performs a backup,
then reads the .NOR file and applies the settings, including any RECIPES you may
have created. The rest of this manual details this process in greater detail.

When transferring files between the melter and BBconn Cloud, the USB drive must
be formatted using FAT or FAT32. No other format, such as NTFS and exFAT are
supported.

You have the option to use BBconn Cloud or you can use the Nordson touch screen
Touch Screen
developed user interface to setup and monitor your melter.

At a minimum, you must use the BBconn Cloud application to define the following:

Network and PLC communication settings.
S
PLC
Use the PLC Mapping and Interface Setup to create a Flexible Map.

Download the appropriate PLC Starter Kit from the BBconn Cloud application
(DASHBOARD | MEDIA CENTER)
