Power Cycle
Soft power on
With the melter plugged
in, the power switch is
toggled ON.
Hard power on
With the melter NOT
plugged in, the melter
power switch is toggled
ON and then the melter
is plugged in
Soft power off
With the melter plugged
in, the melter power
switch is toggled OFF
Hard power off
With the melter NOT
plugged in and the
melter switch OFF, the
melter is then plugged
in

Melter Front Panel LED Behavior

Table 5 explains how the front panel LEDs behave depending on the
methods used to switch melter power on or off.
Table 5 Melter LED Status/States Upon Power On/OFF
Description
The System Status LED changes from white to red, then
lamp test cycling starts. During the lamp test:

The System Status LED is OFF and all LEDs are steady
ON for approximately 15 seconds, after which lamp test
cycling starts. During the lamp test:

The System Status LED switches OFF, all LEDs are
steady ON for approximately 15 seconds, and then the
System Status LED changes to white and all other LEDs
switch OFF.
The System Status LED is OFF, all LEDs are steady ON
for approximately 15 seconds, and then the System
Status LED changes to white and all other LEDs switch
OFF.

An issue exists with one or more
of the subsystems, causing
production to temporarily stop.
When a stop occurs:
Flashing

The Master Heat control remains
red
on, but the Master Pump control
is automatically toggled Off.

LED Behavior
System status lights cycle from red to green to blue.
