You will use three types of file to manage your melter's system: .DAT files
(upgrading), .NOR files (system configuration) and .PLC (flex map).

.DAT files contain the melter firmware and are used for upgrading the
firmware on the melter. The ProBlue Flex melter internally retains
knowledge of its current software version.

.NOR files contain the data shown in Table 6. The .NOR file is used to
transfer system settings, recipes, PLC maps, and event log data
to/from a melter and BBconn Cloud.

.PLC files include only the custom ADI data map created using
BBconn Cloud. .PLC files are also included in .NOR files.

NOTE: A .PLC file is included in a .NOR file, but can also be
a standalone file.
NOTE:

When transferring files between the melter and BBconn Cloud, the
USB drive must be formatted using FAT or FAT32. No other format,
such as NTFS and exFAT are supported.
