The following table details the troubleshooting tips to resolve Alert and Fault
conditions.
The zone exceeds the
programmed upper
temperature limit. If alert
remains active for more than
2 minutes, a fault will occur.
The zone remains above
programmed upper
temperature limit for more
than 2 minutes.
The Zone is below the
programmed lower
temperature limit. If alert
remains active for more than
2 minutes, a fault will occur.
The zone remains below the
programmed lower
temperature limit for more
than 2 minutes.
No heater current is
detected for this zone.
Heater current is detected
when the zone is disabled.
No RTD/heater current is
detected for the zone
The RTD resistance
exceeds the open circuit
threshold. If condition
continues for 2 minutes, a
fault will occur.

Troubleshooting Tips
Check heater connections
for intermittent wiring,  open
circuit condition, and for
external conditions that may
cause a rise in component
temperature.
Check power module LEDs
for heater-stuck-on
condition.
Replace power module.
Check heater connections
for intermittent wiring, open
circuit condition, and for
external conditions that may
cause a drop in component
temperature.
Check for loose or broken
heater connections, an open
heater circuit, or a blown
fuse.
Replace the power module.
Check for disconnected or
damaged connector. Disable
zone if not needed.
Check for intermittent or
broken RTD connections.
Verify the resistance. It
should measure between
100 and 300 ohms. For
example,

32_ C (90_ F): 143.59
ohms
49_ C (120_ F): 156.94
ohms
