Defining Automatic System Setback

Use Automatic Setback to allow the melter to enter into Setback mode based
on the user-defined time of inactivity based on one of the following:
S
A hose/applicator # is assigned to an input. The melter will enter into
Setback if that assigned applicator is not dispensing adhesive for the
amount of time you define.
S
Fill system (optional for tank system configurations). The melter will enter
into Setback if the fill system is not activated for the amount of time you
define.
Once the system is in Setback, you can also define when you want the
Master Heater Control to switch Off, thereby preventing the adhesive from
charring or degrading.
1. Log into your BBconn Cloud account, then do the following:

Select SETUP TOOL - create or load a .NOR file.
S
Select SYSTEM SETTINGS | TEMPERATURE.
2. Press the
to toggle (enable or disable) the Automatic System
Setback option. The default is Disabled.
3. Select Automatic System Setback Source and choose which source
you want to use to automatically make the melter go into Setback.
S
Fill - is available for Melt-on-Demand-configured systems, or tank
versions with the optional Fill system.
S
I/O - you must assign Automatic Setback to an input and connect it to a
parent machine controlling the use of the applicator.
S
Flow is available if you have purchased the optional Flow Monitoring kit
4. Select System Setback Delay and enter the amount of time to elapse of
inactivity before entering into Setback. The default is 60 minutes,
minimum is 1 minute, the maximum is 1440 minutes.
5. Press the
to toggle (enable or disable) the Auto Heaters Off
option. The default is Enabled.
6. Select Auto Heaters Off Time and enter the amount of time you want
the melter to remain in Setback before switching the Master Heater
Control Off. The default is 60 minutes, minimum is 1 minute, the
maximum is 1440 minutes.
7. When done, select SAVE.
NOTES:
S
Press the
Master control button to toggle Off (exit) Automatic
Setback.
S
While in Setback, the System Status indicator is Blue.
