Within a machine/system, ensure that the protective conductor for the line feeder cable fulfills
at least one of the following conditions:
For fixed connection:
The protective conductor is routed so that along its complete length it is protected against

mechanical damage.

As a conductor of a multi-conductor cable, the protective conductor has a cross-section ≥

2.5 mm Cu.

For an individual conductor, the protective conductor has a cross-section ≥ 10 mm²

The protective conductor consists of two conductors with the same cross-section.

When establishing the connection using an industrial plug connector according to EN 60309:

Cables routed within control cabinets or closed machine housings are considered to be

adequately protected against mechanical damage.
The cable cross-sections must be dimensioned in compliance with local installation rules for
the rated current of the Power Module.
