State Description / cause
OFF Cyclic communication is not (yet) running.
Note:
The PROFIdrive is ready for communication when
the Control Unit is ready for operation (see LED:
RDY).
Continuous light Cyclic communication is taking place.
Flashing light Cyclic communication is not yet fully up and
0.5 Hz running.
Possible causes:
- the controller is not transmitting any setpoints.
- in the isochronous mode, the controller is not
sending a GC (Global Control) or it is sending a
defective GC
Flashing light The PROFIBUS master is sending a faulty
0.5 Hz parameter assignment or the configuration file is
corrupted.
Flashing light Cyclic bus communication has been interrupted or
2 Hz could not be established.
OFF -

Continuous light The voltage of the electronics power supply for the
measuring system is 24 V.
