Explanation
Message
The Profibus master
has stopped
communicating with
the MDXII unit. This
"slave" is now
available be to
"owned" by another
master. If output is
on, the MDXII unit
turns off and fails
safe.
The Profibus
controller has taken
itself "off-line,"
probably in response
to another error.
User pin 14 (RMT
OFF.D) is high and
you pressed the
START switch (see
page 9-11) or pulled
User pin 7
(RMT ON.D) low.
Soft-start failed in
the MDXII unit (the
internal MDXII bus
voltage failed to
reach the soft-start
level).
Troubleshooting and Customer Support
Suggested Action
Have a Profibus master
establish communication
with the MDXII unit.
Send a "master reset" to
clear the MDXII unit's
display.
Cycle the MDXII unit's
power off and on.
Re-establish
communications between
the master and slave.
If the message persists,
call AE Customer
Support.
The fault message
appears briefly and then
clears itself.
Pull User port pin 14
low.
Press the STOP switch to
clear the fault message.
Ensure that the line
voltage is correct and that
all phases are present.
If the fault message
persists, cycle the
contactor hold function
or cycle power to the
unit.
