Tests
Set the primary, secondary, and monochrome parallel ports to (P) if present or (N) if not present in your
system. When a parallel port test is selected, a menu similar to the one below appears:

The port(s) selected are tested for externalloopback, internalloopback, and printer pattern.
If performing a parallel loopback test, there must be a loopback connector on the parallel port. The
pinouts of this connector are shown in Figure
3-12
below.
