INSTALLING AN OPTIONAL INTEL 80387SX MATH CO-PROCESSOR
With the power to the XVME-678/688 off, install the 80387SX math co-processor into socket U31 of the
XVME-678/688, as shown in Figure 2-5. Align pin 1 of the chip with pin 1 of the socket designated for
the math co-processor (U7), as shown.
