Wavelength switching in Chromeleon
Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends using the single-channel mode to record data by
switching the wavelengths in-between the detected peaks of the various sample components,
rather than to simultaneously measure all interesting wavelengths in multi-channel mode.
Use the Program Wizard to set the start wavelengths for one channel (→ page 68). After
completion of the wizard, open the program in the Program Editor (→ page 70). In the Device
View for the detector, on the Timetable tab page, you can define the times for switching the
wavelengths.
Setting the wavelengths for multiple channels in Chromeleon
On the Signals page in the detector Properties dialog box, verify that the channels you want
to record were selected by the Enabled check box during the installation of the detector
(→ page 43). If they were not, the detector cannot collect raw data for these channels.
Use the Program Wizard to set the wavelengths for all channels (→ page 68).
