7.3.2.1 Removing the Flow Cell
1. Stop the pump flow.
2. Open the front panel door and disconnect the capillaries from the cell inlet and outlet
connection ports, if applicable. Close the flow cell inlet and outlet with the dummy
plugs that were installed when the flow cell was shipped.
3. Loosen the two flow cell screws (→ Fig. 38) until they are loose but not unscrewed
completely. The screws are captive in the flow cell and do not need to be removed.
4. Remove the flow cell from the optical bench.
Tip: You can flush the flow cell by using the optional syringe injection/flushing kit
(part no. 6078.4200).
