LonWorks® Module (panel level)
Devices in a lonWorks network communicate through a control network speci c protocol originally created by eche-
lon. The protocol was rati ed as an official standard by a number of national and international standards setting bod-
ies, including AnsI, Ieee, Cen, and en. In January 2009, the protocol underlying the lonWorks platform was rati ed as
a global standard for building controls. It is now formally known as IsO/IeC 14908-1. With the panel module, com-
mands can be sent to the panel to force relays On and OFF, force relays On and OFF with a timer option (blink, dou-
ble blink, hID delay, Alarm On, Alarm OFF, Pulse On, and Pulse OFF), monitor relay status, monitor input status, and
enable/disable inputs.
Setup:
1. From the home screen, press
connect to the Network Controller Node 00 as shown in
Section 3.0)
2. Press 2 times to scroll down
3. Press OTheR DeVICes
4. Press ADD-On MODUles
5. Press ADD-On MODUle 1, 2, 3, or 4
6. Press or and select the PROTOCessOR option
