2.3.4 Cable Distances
Data and power is carried across the network cable. There are limitations how far data can be run, how many devices
are on the line, and how much power is on the line. With the addition of a Power supply (Ps, adds power to the data
line) or a Power supply Repeater (PsR, adds power and renews data on the data line ) data and power can be re-
newed. see gure 2.4 for more details.
Be sure to record all cable distances on the riser provided.
