When handling components such as storage drive assemblies, circuit boards, or PCIe cards:
Attach an antistatic strap to your wrist and then to a metal area on the chassis. Following
this practice equalizes the electrical potential between you and the system.
An antistatic wrist strap is not included in the system Accessory Kit. However,
Note -
antistatic wrist straps are included with some options and components.
Place ESD-sensitive components on an antistatic mat. The following items can be used as
an antistatic mat:
Antistatic bag used to wrap a replacement part
ESD mat
Disposable ESD mat (shipped with some replacement parts or optional system
components)

Appliance X6 series. Refer to the preceding chapters in this document for information on
servicing those systems.
You must remove the Oracle Database Appliance Version 1 server node from the chassis to
remove or replace internal server node components.
