PROBLEM
The engine does start at all or
starts only with difficulty.
The engine starts but it does
not run.
The engine runs irregularly or
fails.

Improper starting procedure.
Starting temperature too low.
Troubles at start-up.
Fuel unsuitable.
Dirty or contaminated fuel.
Lack of fuel.
Air filter dirty or clogged.
Fuel filter dirty or clogged.
Batteries defective or discharged.
Starter motor faulty.
Cable for starter connection loose or
oxidized.
Starter fuse or relay faulty.
Defective wiring connections.
Stop solenoid locked or seized.
Engine stop solenoid wiring faulty.
Wrong valves clearance.
Air in the feeding system.
Injector/s dirty or faulty.
Injection line leaks.
Inside mechanics blocked.
Engine coupling side locked.
Fuel system contaminated.
Fuel injector/s faulty.

TROUBLESHOOTING
CORRECTION
Revise the starting procedure.
Perform preheating.
Consult your Dealer.
Drain fuel tank and refill with fuel of
correct type.
Drain fuel tank and refill with clean
fuel.
Add fuel. Perform air bleeding.
Clean or replace the filtering
elements.
Replace fuel filter.
Charge or replace batteries.
Consult your Dealer.
Check and replace the cable.
Replace.
Clean and tighten battery and starter
motor terminals.
Consult your Dealer.
Check and/or repair wiring
connections.

Bleed the feeding system.
