Diagnosis

Block errors and diagnosis information are displayed in the Analog Input function block
via the BLOCK_ERR parameter, (see Page 170). A description of the block errors
supported is provided on Page 170.
Note!
Further information on trouble-shooting and fault elimination while configuring the
Analog Input function block is provided in the Operating Instructions for PROline
Prosonic Flow 93 FF, BA052D/06/en.

Rescaling the input value

In the Analog Input function block, the input value or input range can be scaled in
accordance with the automation requirements.
Example:
• The measuring range of the sensor channel 1 is 0...30 m³/h.
• The output range to the automation system should be 0...100%.
The Analog Input function block must be configured as follows:
• Select the input value in the CHANNEL parameter, (see Page 171)
Select: Channel = 2 → Volume flow channel 1
• L_TYPE parameter, (see Page 174)
Select: L_TYPE = Indirect
The "volume flow channel 1" process variable of the Transducer Block
TRANSDUCER_ CH1 (flow channel 1, base index 1200) is rescaled linearly to the
desired OUT_SCALE output range via the XD_SCALE input scaling.
• XD_SCALE parameter group, (see Page 180)
XD_SCALE 0 %
XD_SCALE 100 %
XD_SCALE UNIT
• OUT_SCALE parameter group, (see Page 178)
OUT_SCALE 0 %
OUT_SCALE 100 %
OUT_SCALE UNIT
The result is that with an input value of, for example, 15 m³/h a value of 50% is output
via the OUT parameter.
