General troubleshooting

For local display
Fault
Local display remains dark for
longer than 5 seconds when
touched.
Possible causes
Main electronics module is defective.
Parameter configuration error
Configuration error or device is operated outside
the application.
Bluetooth communication set to "on touch"
No Bluetooth connection
Device is being put into operation for the first
time
Incorrect password entered
Password forgotten
Hardware write protection enabled
Possible causes
Hardware write protection is enabled.
Current user role has limited access
authorization.
Possible causes
Supply voltage does not match the
voltage specified on the nameplate.
Supply voltage has incorrect
polarity.
The connecting cables are not
connected correctly.
No battery pack inserted or
connected.
No buffer capacitor inserted or
connected.
Device is not powered from the
mains.

Check and adjust parameter configuration.
1. Check and correct parameter configuration.
2. Observe limit values specified in the
"Technical Data".
1. Check whether the Bluetooth logo is visible on
the local display or not.
2. Touch the display for 5 seconds so that a
measured value is displayed.
Enable Bluetooth function on smartphone or
tablet.
The device is already connected to another
smartphone/tablet.
Enter initial password (device serial number)
and change.
Enter correct password.
